Hamadryas amphinome

Above it is dark blue with pale blue spots and a white band across the forewing, while the hindwing underside is an unmistakable bold red. It rests head-down on trunks with wings open, and males click audibly in flight. The contrast between its starry pattern and the hidden red makes it a visitor favorite.
