One-spotted Prepona

A powerfully built butterfly with black wings crossed by a broad blue-green band, while the brown, cryptic underside hides it the moment it lands. It flies fast and strong but comes readily to fermenting fruit, where visitors can watch it at close range. It brings size, speed and a flash of metallic color to any flight house.
