Band-celled Sister

Adelpha fessonia

Dark brown wings carry a continuous white band and an orange patch near the forewing tip. It alternates quick wingbeats with short glides and usually perches with wings open. It feeds at flowers and ripe fruit, making it easy to observe on display.
