Isabella's Longwing

Eueides isabella

Its orange, black and yellow tiger pattern places it in a mimicry ring shared with other distasteful butterflies. It drifts between nectar flowers with a light wingbeat and perches often, making it easy to observe. It adds warm color to the display and a clear example of mimicry for interpretation.
