Banded Orange
Dryadula phaetusa
Orange wings crossed by crisp black stripes give it a clean, instantly recognizable pattern. It prefers to fly low near flowers and settles often to sip nectar in full view of visitors. A calm, photogenic species that adds variety to the orange tones of a flight house.
