Cloudless Sulphur

Phoebis sennae

A clean lemon-yellow butterfly, nearly unmarked in males and lightly dotted in females. It flies fast and fairly high but keeps dropping down to nectar at tubular flowers. Hardy and easy to handle, it fills a flight house with flashes of bright yellow.
